Early Life
Alex was born and raised in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, before moving to Toronto at 12 with her family. Her upbringing was greatly influenced by her mother, Dawn Essoe, a performer on stage, and her father, Csaba Essoe, who had immigrated to the United States from Saudi.
Growing up in Toronto, Alex developed a strong passion for the performing arts. She watched her mother’s performances on stage, which inspired her to pursue an acting career. During her high school years, Alex actively participated in her school’s drama program and attended a tutorial for acting.
At a young age, Alex also ventured into modeling. She started her modeling career but soon realized she had a great passion for acting.
