Biography
Alice Iyabo Ojo (born December 21, 1977) is a Nigerian actress, movie director, and producer who has appeared in over 150 films, 14 of which she produced. She is well-known in the Nigerian film industry for her acting and directing talents.
Early life
Iyabo was born into a family of three, being the last and only girl in three families with two older brothers. Her father was a native of Abeokuta, Ogun state.
She was born and raised in Lagos and had her primary education somewhere in Gbagada, Lagos. She later furthered her education after secondary school. She enrolled in Lagos State Polytechnic, where she took a course on Estate management.
Career
Iyabo had a passion for acting from a young age, and she discovered her talent while still in high school. She joined the school’s acting group and quickly stood out with her impressive performances. Iyabo‘s love for acting continued to grow, and she was determined to make a career out of it.
Iyabo officially began her acting career in 1998 and was fortunate to meet Bimbo Akintola early on. She expressed her passion and interest in acting to Bimbo, who was impressed by her talent and dedication. She was registered with the Actors Guide of Nigeria (AGN) through the influence of Bimbo. With her help and guidance, she met with the right people and eventually landed her first role, Satanic, an English movie.
In 2002, She featured in her first Yoruba movie along with Baba Darinjinwon. And ever since then, Iyabo has been featured in various films. She starred alongside Joseph Benjamin, Alex Usifo, Fathia Balogun, and Doris Simeon in a movie titled Silence, released in 2015. The movie was premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja, in Lagos.
Iyabo was dedicated to her craft and became successful. She began writing and producing her films in 2004. She has produced several titles, including Bofeboko, Ololufe, Esan, and Okunrun Biribiri.

Personal life
Despite her tight schedules, Iyabo is also a great wife and a wonderful mother of two, a boy and a girl.
She got married in 1999 to a Lagos-based Clearing Agent, with whom they’re now divorced.
Iyabo is seeing someone else but promised never to bring it to the spotlight.
She is a proud mother of two, Priscilla Ajoke and Felix Ojo.
Iyabo lives with her kids in one of her mansions on the island and drives her exotic cars.
