Nancy Isime (born December 7, 1991) is a beautiful young multifaceted Nigerian actress, model, and media personality born and brought up in Edo state.
Early Life
The 32-years celeb was born in Edo state, where she grew up under her father’s care after her mother’s demise five years after her birth. She grew up alongside her other three siblings.
Nancy had narrated that she was the only child who took after her mom’s complexion as a light skin.
She had her formative years in Lagos, where she completed her primary education before she relocated with her family back to Benin. She attended her secondary education there before gaining admission into the University of Port Harcourt for a six-month course. She later gained entry into the University of Lagos for a Diploma in Social Wok.
Career
Nancy Isime is a multi-talented and accomplished individual who has had a successful career as a model, television presenter, personality, and Nigerian actress. Her journey in the entertainment industry began in 2011 when she made her debut as an actress in the television series “Echoes.”
In 2016, she was offered the opportunity to replace Toke Makinwa as the presenter of the popular show “Trending” on HipTv. She also presented the 2021 edition of “The Voice Nigeria.”
In addition to her presenting roles, Nancy has co-hosted the 2019 edition of “The Headies” award ceremony with Reminisce. Furthermore, she launched her television show in 2019, called “The Nancy Isime Show.”
Her career continued to flourish in 2022 when she starred in the Netflix original series “Blood Sisters” as the lead character Kemi, produced by Ebonylife Tv studio, which Mo Abudu owns.
On January 20, 2023, Nancy was given the opportunity to star as Shalewa in the Original Netflix series “Shanty Town.” This role further cemented her status as one of the Nigerian entertainment industry’s most talented and versatile actresses.
