Biography
Peggy Ovire Onoho (born October 21,1985) is a Nigerian Film Producer, Model, and award-winning Actress popularly recognized as Ego Oyibo.
Peggy is a famous Nigerian Nollywood actress who won the “Most Promising Actress Of The Year (English)” award at the City People Entertainment Awards 2015.
She is a model and an entrepreneur with well-established businesses asides from acting.
Early Life
Peggy was born and brought up in Lagos, where she spent her formative years.
She is the sixth and the last child of her parent’s six children.
Peggy is originally from Ughelli, Delta state but has resided in Lagos all her life.
She grew up in a Christian family where her father was a strict disciplinarian who did not tolerate lackadaisical behavior from his children.
She learned a lot of manners and conduct from her parent, guiding her throughout her life. She always gives credit to her parent for setting her on the right course in life.
Education
Peggy grew up in Surulere, in Lagos state, where she was enrolled in Itire Nursery & Primary school. She was enlisted in AUD secondary schools, also located at Surulere.
Upon graduation, she enrolled in Delta State University, Abraka, where she completed her course with a bachelor of science degree in Banking and Finance at Ambrose Ali University.
Career
Peggy began her career as a model before she eventually joined the movie industry.
She began acting officially in 2013, debuting in her first Nollywood movie, Best of Enemies, released in 2013.
She came into the limelight while starring in a Tv series ‘Husbands of Lagos.’
She stated that her fame in the movie industry was through Tv series, and she has since become recognized and prominent in the movie industry.
After her success in movie acting, Peggy went further into movie production. She has produced various movies, including Ufuoma, Fool Me Once, the Other Women, The Boy is mine, and others.
She has worked with several prominent Nigerian actors in the industry.
She won the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards for most promising Actress of the year(English).
During her years at the university, Peggy contested as the Most Beautiful Girl on Campus, where she came out with the first position in 2003 and again in 2005, she came up as the third position.

Peggy was born into a family of six children, and she happens to be the family’s last child.
The Actress has claimed to be single and never married. Although, it is rumored that He is engaged to a famous Nollywood actor, Frederick Leonard.
The news was confirmed to be true after actor Frederick took to his Instagram page to publicly declare and announce that Peggy Ovire was the woman He would be spending the rest of his life with.
They had their traditional marriage in Delta on November 19,2022. And the two are most happy to have each other as Husband and Wife.
