His father, Mr. Jonathan Porter, was a professional football coach who worked at various California universities and high schools. His parents separated when he was just a kid, and he lived with his mother and siblings in South Central Los Angeles.

In the early days of his career, Blueface worked various odd jobs, including working as a security guard and at a restaurant to support himself financially. However, he always had a passion for music which pushed him to start releasing his tracks on SoundCloud in 2017. His early releases quickly gained traction, and he gained a following that eventually led to him being signed by Cash Money West in 2018.
He first gained widespread attention in 2018 with his song “Respect My Crypn,” which quickly became a viral hit on social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. However, that year, he released his debut single, “Deadlocs,” followed by “Thotiana,” which became an enormous success, peaking at number 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Personal Life
Blueface is currently unmarried but has two children, Javaughn and Journey Alexis Porter, with Jaiden Alexis. The couple welcomed their second child in 2022.
