Hadiza Blell- Olo (born August 14, 1989) is best recognized by her stage name, Di’ja.
She is a talented and beautiful female Nigerian artist formerly signed to Don Jazzy’s Mucic Record, Mavin Records.
Di’ja is not only a singer but also a visual artist, designer, philanthropist and humanitarian.
Early Life
Di’ja, currently 33 years, was born to a Northern Nigerian mother, Asma’u Blell, from Kaduna state. Her father, Amb Joseph Blell, was from Sierra Leone. Growing up in an Islamic household, Di’ja was raised with strong religious values and ethics, which have undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping her.
Di’ja received an excellent education thanks to her parents’ dedication and sacrifices. She completed her primary education in Kaduna and then moved to Canada for university studies. This transition must have been challenging, but Di’ja was able to adapt and thrive in her new environment. She earned biology and psychology degrees, showcasing her diverse interests and capabilities.
Career
Di’ja’s music career began 2008 in 2009 when she released her first song, “Rock Steady.” This song earned her a nomination for Best R&B Song at the Canadian Radio Music Awards and marked the start of a promising career in the music industry.
On Valentine’s Day in 2014, Di’ja signed a record deal with Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and released her first song with the label “Yaro.” This release was met with great reception from music lovers and critics, who praised the song for its catchy beats, heartfelt lyrics and Di’ja’s unique vocal style.
Since then, Di’ja has been recognized for her talent with numerous awards, such as Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Canadian Radio Music Awards, and Beat Music Awards, which are testimony to her hard work and dedication to her craft.
Di’ja has also been featured on the hit song “Dorobucci” with her labelmates Don Jazzy, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, D’prince, Korede Bello, and Reekado Banks. This collaboration with her labelmates helped her to reach new audiences and showcase her versatility as an artist.
In May 2017, she dropped another hit song, “One Talk“, which was organized by Globalcom Telecommunication Company. Her fans and critics widely acclaimed this song cementing her place in the Nigerian music industry as one of her generation’s most talented and respected artists.

Personal Life
Di’ja is a happily married woman, having tied the knot with her husband, Rotimi, in 2015. The couple has been blessed with two beautiful children, a son and a daughter, who make a lovely family. Being a mother and a wife is a big part of Di’ja’s life; you can see her love and affection for her family whenever she talks about them.
Di’ja is also very close with her family, particularly her elder brother, whom she considers her best friend. They share a special bond, and you can tell how much they mean to each other. They are always there for each other, no matter what.
In addition to her successful career, Di’ja is profoundly religious and practices the Islamic faith.
