Jonathan David Bellion (born December 26, 1990), professionally known as Jon Bellion, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer born into the family of Mr&Mrs Bellion.
He was born and brought up in Lake Grove, New York, and spent his childhood alongside his brother and sister. He got his first break light after he released his single “All Time Low” and gained recognition in the US music industry after he wrote a chorus for Eminem on “The Monster” featuring Rihanna. The song not just topped the chart but also won the Best Rap/ Sung Collaboration at Grammy.
Early Life & Education
Jon was born and raised in Lake Grove, New York City, where he grew up with his brother and sister.
His family is originally from Naples in Italy, which makes him of Italian descent. He was a basketball lover in high school before his passion for music was gradually springing up.
At 19, Jon gave up his ambition of studying, trading it for music. He dropped out of college to focus and pay more attention to his musical career, joining the Five Towns College in Dix Hill, New York. But, for unknown reasons, he chose to drop it and learn by experience. He began learning how to write professionally under some top songwriters like Warner Bro and A&R executive Kara DioGuardi for a year and also signed a deal through her publishing company. With the help of these people, Jon began writing, and gradually He was perfecting it.
He had written songs for some top different artists, both in Rock and Hip-Hop genres.
Career
2011, Jon officially released the first song he wrote, composed, and produced by himself via his Facebook page and titled it “Scattered Thought Vol.1”.
He signed a record deal with Visionary Music Group(VMG) in 2012. He did a cover version of drake on “The Motto” and dropped it on the VMG Official page.
He wrote a chorus for Eminem’s song “The Monster “in 2012, in which he featured Rihanna. The song was nominated for a grammy and won the best rap/collaboration song in 2015. He also co-wrote and produced “Trumpet” for Jason Derulo.
In 2013, he dropped two mixtapes. He titled the first “Translation Through the Speaker, “accompanied by “The Separation,” but this was dropped towards the end of 2013.
He gained extensive recognition in the industry and was popularly known.
His record label released his third project titled “The Definition” in September 2014. This was accompanied by his Tour, which he tagged “The Beautiful Mind Tour,” which was gotten from his band name ‘The Beautiful Mind.’ The Band majorly consists of his like-minded friends from college. He mentioned in the documentary that the Tour was to appreciate his Band and expresses his affection for them.
He released his first debut studio album on May 13,2016, and it was titled ‘All Time Low’ but was officially out on June 10,2016. In the album, He talks more about faith, emphasizing God.
His second album was released on October 2018 and tagged ‘Glory Sound Prep.’
Jon mentioned that he was influenced by Kanye West. He has worked with many top American artists and is still looking forward to more.

Personal Life
Jon was born into the family of Mr&Mrs Bellion.
His mother is Judy Ann, and Williams J. is his father. Jon has several siblings, but we can only discover Christinne, who happens to be his elder sister to Jon. She had a song featured with Jon titled “Ooh.”
Jon is currently single and not in any known relationship. It was reported that he was in a relationship with Melanie Iglesias, a model and an actress, and there have been several rumors about that. Still, the supposed relationship ended, and Jon remained focused on his career.
Although Jon announced that He got married in early 2018.
