Korede Bello (born February 29, 1996) is a talented Nigerian singer, songwriter, composer, and guitarist.
Korede is best recognized as a recording artist under the record label Mavin Records, owned by Don Jazzy, a famous Nigerian producer.
He came into the spotlight after releasing his hit song ‘Godwin.’
Early Life
Korede Bello, formerly known as the “African Prince,” grew up with two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister named Jasmine Bello, who shared his passion for music.
Korede started his musical journey at seven and has remained active in the industry. His parents recognized his musical talent at a young age and fully supported him, gifting him a guitar for music lessons.
Education
Korede Bello studied Mass Communication at a Nigerian journalism institute in Lagos Ikeja and held a National Diploma Certificate.
Career
Growing up, Korede showed a deep passion and interest in music, which impressed his father greatly. He recognized his son’s talent and gifted him with a guitar to help Korede further develop his musical skills.
Korede‘s passion for music led him to begin recording and composing his songs, starting with a track titled “Forever” while he was still in secondary school. This early success set the stage for the exciting career that was to come.
