Biography
Adelabu Alexander (born September 21, 1999) is better known by his stage name, Magixx. Magixx is an indigene of Ekiti state but was raised and nurtured in Lagos, somewhere in Ogba town. He came into Limelight after the release of his debut EP titled “Magixx.”
Early Life & Education
Magixx was born into a Christian family of Mr&Mrs Alexander, who hails from the SouthWestern part of Nigeria, Ekiti state but resides in Lagos. Magixx was born and raised in Lagos state at Ogba alongside his other siblings.
He had his primary education in Lagos state, where he attended his primary and secondary education while also attending instrumental classes. He got admission into the university of Lagos to study Mass Communication.
He began music fully when He was in the university. He won the Mass Com Talent show, which the school organized. He became very famous in school afterward.
Magixx dropped his first debut 3-track album in September 2016. “Mirror” and “Hold me close” were the two major tracks that rosed him to fame in Unilag. He began performing in shows and got featured in songs. He performed on Wizkid‘s show and Seyi Shay‘s Concert in December 2017 before Mavins Boss, Don Jazzy, noticed him.
Career
He became very popular and began dropping freestyles and short covers to hit songs from influential artists.
He recorded a cover song on Burna Boy‘s Song titled “Dangote” in April 2019 with a cover video that went viral on social media. He got over 35k views, earned himself some fans, and got more recognition. He released a cover video to “Sinner” by Adekunle Gold on September 3. Like every other of his freestyles, the cover went viral on social media and garnered over 43k views.
The young act became famous and began having some record deals coming his way. Luckily, He got a record deal from Mavin Records, one of the leading record labels in Nigeria. He was signed up and enrolled in the Mavin Academy for proper tutoring. After months of training under the Mavin Academy, He was officially announced as The Newest signee into the Mavin Family on September 23, 2019, releasing his self-titled EP “Magixx” on the same day of his signing.
As a graduate of the Mavin Academy, he joined the Mavin stars like Rema, Ayrastar, Ruger, Ladipoe, and Crayon.
The Magixx EP did massive and earned him massive fans around Nigeria, and he was popularly known and talked about for his unique tone and flow.
“Love doesn’t cost a dime” off the EP was a hit and got a remix with one of the Mavin Family members’ Ayrastar‘.
He further released the “Atom” EP on July 22, 2022. The four tracks EP is already doing wonders on social media as many people are vibing and dancing to it.

Magixx‘s personal life has somewhat been kept away from the media. We currently do not have any information about his siblings.
He is supposely single since He hasn’t flaunted any lady on his social media to be his girlfriend.
He is known to maintain a unique dreadlocks. He is currently residing in Lekki in the Mavins Building along with his mates.
