Early Life & Education

The 35 years old model grew up with her father and her siblings, a sister and six brothers.

Their mother left them to their father’s care after they divorced and moved away.

Melanie is a mixed ethnicity of Puerto Rican, Italian, and Filipino. She grew up and spent most of her years in Brooklyn, New York.

She graduated from Tottenville High School, situated on Staten Island in New York.

Career

Melanie grew up wanting to become a model. She started walking for some local brands as she grew older and also competed in ‘season 13 of America’s Next Top Model’. She Was dismissed from the show before the final by the host, Tyra Banks.

It was later revealed that she was incorrectly assumed to focus more on music and not modeling and was said to be stressed out and couldn’t bring in her best.

She began focusing more on modeling and never allowed the turned out of the event to affect her. She was voted the winner of Maxim’s Hometown Hotties in 2010. She was placed on the Annual list of Maxim as the World’s Most Beautiful Women in the ‘Maxim Hot 100’. She appeared on the cover of Maxim USA.
