Kosisochukwu Gospel Peters (born July 22, 2004) is a young Nigerian female singer and songwriter known professionally as Salle. She rose to fame via her viral freestyle video and has since become known for her exceptional vocal abilities.
Early life
The 18-year-old celeb is a native of Owerri, Imo state, born into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Peters.
She grew up with her siblings, which are yet to be known.
She grew up in Owerri, where she completed her primary and secondary education.
Salle took up her family’s faith as a Christian and also belonged to the choir team in their local church.
Career
Salle started singing at a younger age. With her incredible voice, she was able to gain the attention of many. She began singing in her church choir while growing up.
As she grew older, she began freestyling and composing her songs which she’ll sing to her friends and classmates.
Salle was widely known in her school as the girl with the sonorous voice.
She began uploading her freestyles online, hoping to get the attention of one of the Nigerian big wig artists or producers.
She came into the spotlight in 2021 and gained massive fame after her video of a freestyle which she made while in her hawking business, went viral on social media.
The video was made by a passerby who knew that the girl had talent. The video was reposted by so many people, including some famous bloggers like Tunde Ednut and others.
The freestyle video got too many prominent acts in Nigeria, including Don Jazzy and Davido, who also promised to sign her up.
She has released several songs and her self-titled debut EP “Call Me Salle.”
Despite her struggles and background, Salle has chosen to excel in her career choice and is currently focused and attracting a lot of attention with her music and sonorous voice.
