Just a few days following the tragic passing of Adejumoke, the Nollywood community finds itself once again enveloped in mourning with the untimely demise of another beloved figure, Junior Pope.
Reports indicate that Junior Pope, alongside three of his colleagues, was returning from a movie shoot via boat along the Anam River in Anambra state when tragedy struck, leading to their plunge into the river.
Ironically, Junior Pope was recently captured on video, fervently praying for a safe journey as they embarked on their river trip. Sadly, fate took a cruel turn as the incident occurred during their return journey on April 10th.
Junior Pope leaves behind a grieving family, including three sons and a wife. Although their bodies have been recovered, the loss has left a deep void in the hearts of many. The entire Nigerian community extends their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying earnestly for divine comfort and solace during this trying time.
