Adebayo Adeleke (born July 23, 1991), better and publicly known as B-Red, is a Nigerian Singer and Songwriter born and brought up in the United States. He’s the son of the famous politician in Nigeria, Ademola Adeleke, who is the current governor of Osun state after He had been denied over time.
B-Red is the Cousin of the famous Nigerian star, Davido.
Early Life
B-Red was born into the family of Christine Adeleke and Ademola Adeleke in the United States, Georgia, Atlanta.
He grew up in the United States alongside his older brother, “Sina Rambo” a Nigerian singer.
He returned to Nigeria to complete his education and officially activated his musical career.
Career
B-Red began his career in 2013 after He had developed a passion for Music and the music industry. He started making Music with his elder brother Sina Rambo and Cousin Davido, who was already into the business. The three formed a band in the united state known as KB International, but unfortunately, The group didn’t last long enough as their Music wasn’t getting the kind of engagement they felt they needed. They relocated back to Nigeria after realizing that their Music could have momentum in their homeland. B-Red later joined the HKN music label, which was then managed by Davido in 2013 and dropped a song titled ‘Insane Girl’ and featured Davido.
He began toiling with Davido and becoming his Hypeman, accompanying him on his UK tour in September 2015. He got his recognition along the way and eventually dropped his debut International single ‘Cucumber’ featuring an American icon, “Akon.” He also collaborated with Nigerian bigwig artists like Don jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Lil Kesh, and many more.
He dropped his first debut EP in 2016, which he tagged ‘All the way Up.’
“Twerk” video, one of the singles he released after his EP skyrocketed up to a million views and earned him more fans and recognition.
He released his first studio album on October 12, 2020. “The Jordan” had some of the top Nigerian acts as a guest artists on the album. The album went viral, was heard on the radio and TV, and was available on an online music app. It got massive streams and helped boost his network also.
