Austin Robert Butler (born August 17, 1991) is an American actor and singer best recognized as Austin Butler.
He rose to stardom for his role as ‘Elvis Presley in the 2022 biographical film “Elvis.”
He is also popular in various roles on the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and CW, appearing in Switched at Birth, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and The Carrie Diaries.
Early Life
Austin was born and raised in Anaheim, California, to Lori Anee, an Aesthetician, and David Butler.
His parents divorced when he was just seven. He grew up alongside his older sister, Ashley, who is also an actress.
His acting career began when he was 13years. He first met with acting management at the Orange County fair, which helped him to start in the entertainment industry.
Soon she discovered that it was fun and exciting. He began taking acting classes to further improve his skills.
Education
Austin attended a public school in his neighborhood where he grew up till his seventh grade. He left and was home-schooled to acclimate to his work schedule.
In tenth grade, He took the CHSPE to finish his formal high school education.
Career
Before He rose to prominence, Austin acted along as a minor on extra numerous television series.
He got his first regular job as a background actor in 2005, playing the role of Lionel Scraton for two seasons on Nickelodeon’s Ned’s Declassified school survival guide.
After a successful performance and great reviews, Austin decided to pursue a career in acting and attended classes.
Since then, Austin has appeared as a guest actor in many TV series and movies.
Some of the TV series he has featured in include Hannah Montana where he played the role of Derek Hanson along with Miley Cyrus, Zoey 101, featured as James Garrett in 2008, and again in the same year featured in Out of Jimmy’s Head as Lance in the episode of Princess, He played the role of Jake Pearson in Alien in the Attic in July 2009, and many others.
He continued acting in Teen-oriented TV series in his early twenties until he gained more recognition after starring in The Carrie Diaries and The Shannara Chronicles.
Austin was cast in The CW’s Sex and the City prequel series The Carries Diaries and played Sebastian Kydd, a brooding heartthrob attending the same high school as Carrie Bradshaw, played by Anna Sophia Robb in 2012.
He began playing the role of Wil Ohmsford in The Shannara Chronicle. The series was canceled after two seasons.
In 2019, Austin was cast as Elvis Presley in Elvis, a biographical film about a singer directed by Baz Luhrmann. It premiered at the 2022 festival on May 26, 2022, where it received a 12-minute standing ovation, the longest at the year’s festival. His performance was appreciated and appraised by the Presley Family.
Austin will be the next star in the war drama mini-series Masters of the Air and would be playing the role of Feyd Rautha in the science fiction epic, Dune: part two.

Personal Life
Austin is currently in a love relationship with Kaia Gerber.
He was previously in a relationship with Vanessa Hudgens. The two dated from 2011-2020.
He is also an artist who loves playing guitar and piano. He learned them right from his teenage age.
Austin lost his mom to breast cancer in 2014.
