Biography 

Tracy Ifeachor (born February 13, 1985) is a renowned British Tv and theater actress popularly recognized for her role in The CW vampires series and Abigail Naismith in both parts of the Doctor Who Christmas special “The End of Time.

Early Life

Tracy grew up in Plymouth, a coastal city in the county of Devonshire, where she was born and had her origin traced to Nigerian Igbo.

As a teenager, she won the Senior Verse Speaking Champion of the South-West competition, which sparked her interest in acting. 

Despite her passion for the stage, Tracy’s father, a professor of electronic engineering and accomplished scholar, insisted that she complete her education before pursuing acting.

She attended Plymouth College Preparatory School and Eggbuckland College for her secondary education.

Tracy attended The Raleigh School of Speech and Drama, where Norma Blake taught her. She also participated at the Deborah Bond Dance Academy, where she studied tap, ballet, modern, and jazz using the ISTD syllabus.

After completing her A-levels, Tracy took an opportunity in her gap year to audition for drama schools in London. Fortunately, She was successful and was awarded a scholarship to study at The Webber Douglas Academy.

Career

Tracy had been passionate about acting from a young age and pursued it diligently. By the time she graduated college, she had already caught the attention of the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company, which led to her first acting job. 

She starred in the film Blood,’ playing the role of Eve, and her performance caught the attention of the BBC.

She starred in the drama ‘Casualty’ as Leila, acting along with Joseph Morgan and eventually becoming the leading female Shakespearean actress and earning a nomination for the Ian Award in 2009 for her outstanding performance.

Tracy’s radio work also includes the role of Queenie in the 2011 BBC Radio 4 Classic Serial production of Edna Ferber’s Show Boat.

In 2016, Tracy was cast in the recurring role of Lydia Hall on the ABC thriller series Quantico.
