Biography
Charles Chibueze Chukwu (born November 21, 2000) is officially known by his stage name, Crayon. He hails from the Southeast region of Nigeria, Ebonyi state but was born and brought up somewhere in the Iba area in Lagos, where he completed his primary and secondary education.
Career
Crayon’s musical life began in 2008 while He was still young age. He drew inspiration from some of the world’s top artists like Davido, Bryson Tiller, Drake, Wizkid, and Fela. He was always surrounded by good music from all genres. He was always with his father, who usually sold albums and CDs.
He became more tenacious as he wanted to connect with many people worldwide through music. He began making music fully at 16 and hopped on his first opportunity to record in the studio. He met with Ozedikus, one of Nigeria’s prominent producers who have produced for some top artists, including some of Rema’s hit songs like Dumebi, Corny and more.
He got recognized by BabyFresh, a producer working under Mavin Records. He was signed under BabyFresh record label, Blow Time Entertainment, an imprint of Mavin Records.
He was featured in the Marvin’s-all-star single “All is in Order,” which featured the likes of Don Jazzy, Rema, Korede Bello, and DNA. He was also featured by Ladipoe on a song titled “Based On Kpa,” in which the music video was great and made a massive wave.
He went further and dropped his EP in July. A six-track project with the titles:

The “Sofine” video from the track was shot and directed by Clarence Peter. The video went viral and got over 400k views on YouTube.
Crayon was also featured again in Mavin-All-Star’s “Overdose,” which was released On May 13, 2022. Just a few days after Mavin Records’ 10th-anniversary featuring AyraStar, BoySpyce, Ladipoe, Magixx
Personal Life
Crayon doesn’t say much about his personal life, but He is single and not married yet.
He hasn’t flaunted any girl to be his girlfriend on his social media platforms.
He is currently signed to Blow Time Entertainment, an Imprint of Mavin Records owned and managed by Babyfresh, Who is also a Producer under Mavin Records.
